Gas cloud harvester

I can imagine that extraterrestrials also have needs for raw materials like gas, which is plentiful and just floating around out there for the picking. So the craft peaking out from the gas cloud is a massive harvester-like-craft, which enormous size can hold sufficient amount of pressurized gas.
